Perhaps you’ve heard of Nebraska’s prominent reputation for river adventures. Wild River Adventures
For those more experienced at navigating the rapids, we offer technical and exhilarating canoe and kayak trips on the Dismal River. The Middle Loup River is great for a more relaxed, easy-going ride aboard a canoe, kayak, or stock tank. With these two river ride options, all can expect to get what they want and need from this vacation in the wilderness. Relaxation or adventure, you’ll find it at the Sandhills Motel and Glidden Canoe Rental in the beautiful Nebraska Sandhills.
Canoe & Kayak Rentals
When you vacation at our river retreat in the Nebraska Sandhills, you don’t have to worry about bringing along all of the equipment necessary for embarking on one of our popular river adventures—we furnish you with everything you will need, including canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life-jackets. To ensure a pleasant canoe or kayak experience, our river ride equipment is of the highest quality. In addition, we keep all equipment well-maintained to ensure ultimate safety. Rental costs are included in the overall fee for daily trips.
Daily trips on the rivers range in price from $40 – $65 , based on the length of the trip, the age of the rider, and the vessel chosen for transportation. All river adventure trips include, equipment and life-jackets. For the Middle Loup River trip we have you will follow us to the end of the trip and they will show you where to park and they will take you to the start of the tip: On weekends the Dismal river trips will all leave at 8:00 and you will need to have your own transportation at the end of the trip to get back to Mullen.
